She's probably getting out to make more money and/or keeping her powder dry for when she runs for president one day. I'm sure she wants to TRY to keep her hands clean and get out while her reputation isn't mud. lol

I think it would've had a different tone if that was the case (imo). Remember who her boss is. Classless.

Some are saying that Trump is getting ready to fire Sessions and will place Lindsey Graham in that position, which will leave a Senate seat open for Haley. neutral

Good riddance.

“Before John Bolton’s hiring, Nikki Haley was probably the most pro-war, pro-imperialist high-ranking Trump official, and therefore the most beloved Trump official by the war-loving US media. She held every conventional foreign policy view that has generated so much destruction,” Glenn Greenwald

Oh no. Sounds as possible as any of his other moves. There has to be a reason besides taking a break, unless there's something personal we don't know.

True. Speaking of classless, just heard orangetrash thinks Ivanka would be great for the job, but he doesn't want to be accused of nepotism.

Yeah, cool. Let's just have a fascist monarchy. NO ONE more qualified. No sir. It's as plain as day.

Go ahead, CHUDS, defend this.

Also, lol. Yeah, Donald, being accused of nepotism would be a bridge too far. Wouldn't want that.

too answer the OP's question:

WE're headed towards some weird amalgamation of a corporate, theocratic doctatorship where we're sold the illusion of being free while fighting each other over table scraps and growing incresingly divided until income disparity, medical bankruptcies and the ravages of climate reach a breaking point and you have roughly 3/4 of the country left with nothing to lose.

The whole thing will be driven by privatization when corporations and the governemnt essentially becoming the same thing. It's that way now but I mean more so.

I think everyone knows what happens after that. They can't jail us all but they can render us powerless and uneducated, all the while promising us that if we work just a little bit harder, obey and rat out our fellow citizens while everything from schools, to jails, to the police force to water supplies, to the internet and basic infrastructure become privatized in the name of "freedom" and capitalism. Then the citizens eat each other alive. You're seeing the early stages of it now.

The shit will really hit the fan when the 401k's ineveitably evaporate or get stolen (again) by big banks and even upper middle class white families go bankrupt from medical bills. We're already at the stage where the very concept of retirement is a pipe dream for probably half the country. When that happens, there we be a 3rd World War centering around a resource rich nation and the draft will be reinstated.

If we do something about climate change, shit like Citizens United and our barbaric and abominable health care system, we can save most of it but I'm not real confident when roughly half the country supports a party that wants to undo things like Social Security, Net Neutrality and Medicare while profiting from private prisons that jail our citizens and plays propaganda games with patriotism by centering on issues like flag allegiance, suborniating to authoritarian cops and uncritical worship of the military industrial complex.

No doubt. What's really funny is that I've heard Alex Jones say almost every bit of this. Cracks me up. lol

Dunno about in the US, but internationally, her reputation is already mud. Her walking out of the UN meeting was the last straw.

Ivanka Trump Says She Won't Be U.S. Ambassador To The U.N.

By Bill Strange

October 10, 2018

President Trump's daughter says she will not be Nikki Haley's replacement as the US-UN Ambassador. Ivanka Trump pushed back on talk on the possibility that she could step into the role.

On Twitter, she said the President will "nominate a formidable replacement for Ambassador Haley," adding "that replacement will not be me." Earlier, President Trump said Ivanka would be "incredible" in the position, but noted that he didn't want to be accused of nepotism. Ivanka Trump is a senior White House adviser.

Yeah, kinda silly to pick one of the stupidest people on earth for the position.

If you mean, "people are always quick to form opinions about things they know nothing about", then yes, I agree it's monstrous.

All this article, and others say is that she needs time off. We are speculating as to what the details of that might mean in an internet discussion forum. This is not an official news source.

It’s not speculation that she’s a divisive war mongering c**t. That’s just the official truth.
